About

My name is Torgeir Aambø and I am a researcher in Operations Research at the Norwegian Defence Research Establishment (FFI).

I did my PhD in pure mathematics at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), where I was part of the project “Tensor triangulated geometry in Trondheim” led by professor Drew Heard. My research focused on chromatic and stable homotopy theory and its interactions with homological algebra.

In my spare time I play drums in some bands, and I like reading, bouldering, hiking and running.
